2004 Accord sometimes judders as if only started on 2 cyl

Uk model 2004 2.2 diesel Accord sometimes judders when started as if it is running on only 2 cyls. Have to switch off and restart to get it to run correctly. Only happens occasionaly but lately also noticed a slight lag when accelerating from around 50 -70 mph

Honda makes diesels - awesome.

Well, I know diesels aren't very complicated engines, however when anything goes wrong it's usually the fuel filter. I suggest changing the fuel filter, and see what happens.

Can't think of much else that would cause a diesel to that. And you say it only does it ever now and then, and you have to shut it off and then restart it.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

What cause of clutch judder

Oil on a clutch will do it, and a clutch that's been overheated will judder too. A clutch that's not been heated adequately can judder, sometimes slipping it carefully will smooth it out.

I've a freelander td4 yr04 just had it a month and it's starting to judder some times shucking black smoke out when apply more power and theres a rattling noise

Faulty Injector or timing

If the injector is not spraying correctly you will be burning neat diesel out of the exhaust.

The effect of one cylinder missing will make the judder

If you bought it from a dealer take it back if you bought it off the street find a good fitter
