Truck has a full frame... celeb is uni-body. not a good match even without doing any measurements.
Technically, you can do just about anything if you are a good welder and have access to a fabrication shop. It takes imagination, skill and some engineering experience....fun idea but I'd leave it alone!

How to tighten cab mounts

Bolts located on underside of the truck. I believe that 6 bolts hold the cab on to the frame if its a crew cab. Four bolts can be seen from laying under the truck. You can see the rubber mounts that attach it the the cab from the frame. The other 2 in the back are on the floor board by rear seat or back panel. they connect to the frame also. Make sure the cab is aligned with the bed. It can be shifted. Make sure the bolts are straight and not leaning forward or backwards. Inspect the rubber cab mounts to make sure they are good. You will understand when you start investigating the mounting area.

On an 81 through 87 chevy truck. my question is the only difference between the short wide truck and the long bed the lenght of the bed? i have a long bed and what to take the bed off and put a short bed...

No I don't believe it will as the frame/ wheel base is different. to check measure from the front of the bed to the bolts in the bed. This will let you know.

I have just bought an isuzu 1994 pick up but the cab and pick up tray are attached at an angle, the gap is thin at the bottom going wider to the top. Is this normal?

you can add or remove shims at the bed attach bolts, raising or lowering as needed to get the gap to be consistant. If the frame is bent then shims would have to be added to the cab section as well, or repair frame.

It is under the hood, in the center center, lower engine area, below drivers side end of intake manifold, mounted in distributor.

Is there an inline fuel filter on a 1985 gmc s15 4 cyl. If so where is it located?

yes there is, if this is a tbi they also had two barrell cars this year. if tbi, it is located along the frame rail about where the cab and bed split. I would sugest that you go ahead and pick up a filter at your local parts supplier first so you know what to look for. It will be a can abt 2in in dia and abt 4 in long

I have a bad fuel pump and am going to replace it in my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500. It is a Z71 Shortbed extended cab. I have read a couple of posts from different people who say it is easier to remove...

definitely easier to remove the bed....unless you like the taste of dirt :-)....round up 3-4 buddys and everyone grab a corner after the bolts, ground straps, and fuel filler are loose, pick it up and set it back a foot or two (on the tires and bumper). That'll give you plenty of room to work.
