look for ample amounts of moisture coming from tail pipe, if not take it back out and run car without it for a while it want hurt anything if its ok, buy a new one , sometime they stick open even when new
you may have a fuel flooding, try to replace your sparkplugs and hi tension wires. if the problem still exists try to replace the fuel filter and fuel pump. try draining your fuel tank too and get rid of the rust and dirt. hope this helps
If all you did was remove the pan and service it then 3 and 3/4 liters will fill it. If it was rebuilt and has no fluid at all then it will take 8 and 1/2 liters
