Cabin air filter 1999 beetle replace
You will need to slide the center hump on dash directly above radio and vents backwards towards the widshield. You will notice a crease where the actual part containing vents meets the center hump that is just one piece itself. It should open up giving you access to the right side (passenger side) dash panel that has 5 or 6 screws (they are hex) that need to be removed. You will find the Cabin air filter under this panel after removing screws. it pulls out easily and the new one just sits back in place. Replace the screws and then align and slide the center hump back towards the back of car to lock into place. Relatively easy thing to do..
