First you need to go to the local parts store and get a steering wheel
puller and a clock spring compressor tool. You can rent them but just
cheaper to buy it and return it. I got mind like 35 bucks together.
You will remove the horn button just by pulling it towards you
be careful not to rip the horn wire out. Next there may be a retainer
clip remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Next get a breaker
bar or a impact gun to back the center nut off. Once off use the
steering wheel puller by inserting the threaded bolts into the threaded
holes directly beside the center pin. ease the puller onto the center
pin and tighten down until the steering wheel starts to move back
towards you continue until off. On some trucks there is a steel plate
covering the housing to the left side and towards the top are two
small torx screws remove them and remove the cover. Next grab your
clock spring compressor and install it similar to the way you did the
wheel puller you will tighten down the center bolt slightly
decompressing the clock spring. as you compress the clock spring look
to the center there is a small retainer clip that looks like it is made
into the center pin pry the clip off making sure not to damage it and
remove the compressor tool, remove the clock spring making sure to pay
attention on how it comes apart you can put it all back together.
Remove the turn signal switch should be 3 phillips head screws. You may
need to disconnect the horn wire at this point it just turns slightly
and pulls out. After you remove the clock spring you will see the lock
cylinder body, follow the body towards the center pin. There will be a
small torx bit or a phillips screw to it will be silver and very shinny at the end of the
lock housing remove it and slide the lock cylinder out. Install the new
one and reverse the steps.
hope this helps...........good luck!

have you checked the glove box light? another way to tell where your short may be is to hook a voltage meter to the battery and notice a drain on the battery with the key off! then start pulling fuses to see when the drain stops and that will narrow down the possibilities of the problem... the drain should be easily located if its killing the battery overnight... help this helps
SOURCE: driver side window control not working
The drivers side window master switch has to be checked for power coming of the switch .
The control should be replaced, but make sure your fuses are good.
SOURCE: I need a diagram for a 94 oldsmobile cutlass
There is a dot on each of the gears one on the large cam gear and one on the small crank gear. The crank gear dot on the teeth of the gear should point to the 12oclock postion straight up then the one on the cam gear point sin the 6 O clock position so the dots meet each other then you put the chain on the cam gear then around the crank gear then bolt on the cam gear the dots should still be lined up with each other.this puts the engine in the #4 firing postion

problem could be the ignition key and switch or the theft deterrent module relay is bad or the theft deterrent module is faulty.this is a dealership fix.
