Question about 2002 Chevrolet Silverado
I have a 2002 silverado with the 5.3 vortec. My battery warning in my message center flashes randomly when driving even thought the voltage is at 14v. my voltage does drop sometimes when at idle. any ideas?
It sounds like the voltage regulator is malfunctioned but hasn't went completely bad. It has a built in regulator unlike the old cars. Also check all your connections from the battery to the starter solenoid and back down to the starter.
