Rebuilt trans installed in 2011. seal leaked in 2012 and was replaced. 2015 leaking again after 7000 miles. Why?

seals depend on a properly positioned shaft upon which they run
most people when reconditioning a transmission neglect to replace the output shaft ( drive shaft) bush in the transmission extension housing which allows the shaft to move concentric to the seal edge
the seal then cannot preform its duty as the seal surface is continually lost and so leaks
So it would appear that the bush is worn or in the case of transverse transmissions a possible failing bearing or bush

Do i need a special tool to remove the transmission seal on a 2002 kia sportage?

Which Seal?

Have you gotten under & checked the driveaxle seals?

The big leak will be the torque converter pump seal
That requires removing the transxale

Sort of old to do that & not rebuild the trans while your at it

I recently changed the cv axle on right hand side of my 04 kia sedona, the cv axle went into like a mid bearing and had a small shaft from there into the transmission. that seal at the transmission is...

The seal you need is called a transmission/transaxle output shaft seal. The 2 best things to do, either get the number off the original seal and have it matched at a local autoparts store or go to Kia/Hyundai. they will know the proper seal. Be sure to install the seal evenly into the trans or it may leak again. If you need anything further, please let me know.

Looking for a diagram of a 2000 caravan transmission so i can locate the speed sensor

The trans speed sensors are on top of the trans. One closest to the engine is the input. One to the right is the output. On your drivers side of van, follow the trans fill tube down to the trans. The input is just under the trans lines going into the trans. output is 8in to the right. Use 1in socket to remove. 20lbs torque to reinstall. Make sure you replace the o-ring on them.

I need to know how to install the throwout bearing in my 1997 jeep wrangler the trans is a AX5

After the trans is out, its right there. I would suggest you do the complete clutch replacement, while its apart. Also replace the rear main oil seal.

2003 Hyundai Tiburon Leaking Transmission Seal

The beaings job is to not only give the axle something to rotate on, but also the keep the axle centered in the hole. When the bearing gets loose, it allows the axle shaft to have an oblong roation, which wears on the seal and allows it to leak. You don't have to run the trans low on fluid to have the output bearings go bad. If you have gone enough miles to wear out a clutch, you have gone enough miles to get some play in the bearings.
