The first step is to check your fuses. There are 2 fuse boxes - 1 under the dash and 1 under the hood. If that doesn't solve the problem. I would use a code reader to find out what the problem is. Code readers are a great tool for the do-it-yourself mechanic. Check e-bay for good prices.

2000 Ram 1500 truck voltage gauge intermittently maxes out and check gauges light comes on. When you restart it, everything is ok for a couple miles, then the same thing. Sometimes it makes a whining noise...

The voltage output is controlled by the engine computer, so you may want to have a shop or dealer take a look at it.
If the computer is the fault, the replacement may have to be programmed.

2002 dodge ram 1500 4x4 will start when engine is cold, but drive any distance turn off won't start turns over and all. Replaced coil and still have problem

Check the fuel pressure regulator, by pulling the vaccum line off of it when the truck is cold, and after the truck gets hot. If any fuel comes out at all you have a bad fuel pressure regulator which will cause a no start when its warm because its flooding the motor with extra fuel. Good luck.

It could be low fuel pressure. Have it tested with a gauge.

1999 dodge ram 1500 4X4 air bag light, check gauges light, oil pressure and gas guage all came on. Then they would all go out. Now truck will not start.

Well the air bag light would not have anything to do with the engine. The warning light for the gauges would come on if the gauges needed attention. And that would happen if the engine died.
When you turn the key on, does the gas gauge register ?
Do you have spark and fuel pressure when you crank the engine ?

I have a 2002 dodge 1500 two door two wheel drive v6 that all of a sudden quit and wont start, it turns over but wont start i checked the relay but i think it might be the fuel pump

when you turn the key on you should be able to hear the pump reun for a few seconds, if not disconnect at the harness and check for voltage going back,

Put your vehicle in Neutral then back to park and see if it fires up...Sometimes this is all it takes.

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L will not stay on

sounds like a fuel problem. listen near your fuel tank for the fuel pump buzz or whirring sound while someone turns on the the key. no sound no fuel no start. does not necessarily mean the fuel pump is bad, maybe just no power.

2000 1500 ram truck turns over, but wont start.

first check the fuses. Then check for power at the fuel tank wiring going to the sending unit for power. also check the grounds coming from the sending unit neither the fuel gauge or the fuel pump will work properly with no ground. mike
