Yuo will need to dump the fuel,, under the fuel tank is a bolt,, loosen it and all the gas will run out... place a container under it to catch it,,, and use a hose with running water to wash the ground under the car as fasts as the gas is leaking out!!!!!!!...

Ps.. before you start dumping fuel,,,

remove the hose that leads from the fuel tank to the gas filter,,,
place that in a glass container
turn on ignition,, gas will pump out into the container
turn off ignition..
check your gas!!!!! in the jar..

(NB::: some experts claim that thats dangerous,, maybe it is,, so be careful) but the other way is pumping gas outta the tank itself....

oil mixing with antifreeze is the CYLINDER HEAD.. its cracked ,, I'm sure your car overheated,, this caused this issue,, have your mechanic check he cylinder head,, and engine block...

Sounds like you could still have a bad head gasket...a head gasket can go bad and not mix oil and coolant, but can leak coolant into cylnders, and can leak pressure into areas its not suppose to be.

I'd find a new mechanic...NO MECHANIC can diagnose a car with your problems by looking at pictures.....he is just guessing.

Won't start but did and stalled out won't start at all now and oil filler cap smells like gas

If the oil cap smells like gas, one of the injectors may be flooding the cylinder and the crankcase. That would not be a filter problem.
Check the spark plugs to see if they are wet.

I have a 1985 K5 Blazer, I think the fuel pump went out yesterday, I put gas in it Wend. night and when I got home I could smell gas pretty bad. When I went to start it yesterday it just cranked but...

I think you need to get to a mechanic. If you smell gas, then your fuel pump is pumping it out, gas is not getting burned properly and it is being dumped either via a leak or incomplete combustion. You have some type of problem with your intake or combustion system which needs attention.

My 1996 Volkswagen jetta wont start

If there is a spark and you smell gasoline, then it should start. otherwise make sure you smell the fuel, as it sounds like the fuel relay. not sure which one it is, but i think its a longer one than usual. also, did you check the immobiliser?

try some STP gas treatment or dry gas in the gas tank and make sure there is at least a half a tank of gas when adding and make sure that the battery is fully charged
