Check all powertrain mounts if no bolts slacken, tighten if necessary. Inspect also gearbox & differential & transmission shafts (axles) for each wheel.

I just did a tune up on a 2000 mazda 626 with a V6. the parts changed were the plugs, ignition coil, plug wires, mass air flow censor, air filter, and fuel injector cleaner. the plugs were gapped at .32.i...

9 times out of 10 your problem is going to to be with the MAF Sensor. You changed it, was the old one bad? If not try putting the old one back in. If you bought an aftermarket MAF and didn't replace with an OEM MAF, that could also be your problem. Recheck to make sure it's seated correctly, check the wire connection.
Unless the stickers have been removed, you should have a vacuum line diagram under your hood.
Here are what you should check from top to bottom.
  • A clogged, stuck, or leaking fuel injector
  • Faulty fuel regulator
  • Dirty or faulty mass air flow sensor
  • Faulty coolant temperature sensor
  • Faulty thermostat
  • ECM needs reprogramming
  • Dirty or faulty oxygen sensor
  • Vacuum leak
  • Fuel delivery problem
  • Incorrect fuel pressure

1998 Grand Marquis. Start goods. idols low. put in gear, stalls out. Changed fuel filter & had injectors serviced. Problem remains. Could it be the Transmission modulator valve?

I would check the operation of the idle speed control valve, it is what changes the idle speed when a load like the transmission is put on the engine, without it the engine will idle slow and stall out, this is even more apparent when reverse gear is selected or drive or the AC is tuned on. The ISC valve is located on the side of the throttle body top of upper intake manifold. Below is a picture of the ISC (idle speed control valve)

Car vibrating while idling

Sounds like it is missing badly and would not be so noticeable when running. Have you had it tuned up lately? Could be wires and plugs need replacing. Also if you have a lot of miles on the engine the compression in the cylinders may be low. Two possibilities.

I have a low idle problem in my 99 mazda B2500. The truck will die after starting if i dont hold in the gas pedal

replace the idle air control valve, thats the problem on those about 90% of the time, its that valve. good luck.

Steering wheel vibrates while idleing

sounds like the engine just might need a little tune up. how bad is it idling? did you just buy this vehicle? how many miles are on the odometer? these particular engines DO vibrate a little bit when the transmission is placed in gear. if this is a manual trans you might need some maintenance. have you checked the condition of the spark plugs which are located under the black cover on top of the valve cover? the air horn does need to be removed in this case also.

Could be any one, or more, of the following -

Plugged injector
Bad plug wire
Fouled plug
Crossed plug wires (hard to tell sometimes on V-8s that run smooth anyway)
Vacuum leak
Leaky EGR valve
Shifted timing sensor

Scan engine for codes and proceed from there.

There is a product called RXP (available here in Texas) that will clean up an engine and gas. Its pretty awesome stuff, and this coming from a person who doesn't really believe in additives.

Mystery 1996 Mazda 626

Well you have good compression so your cylinders are OK.
I cannot help you with the vacuum hoses, but, try and plug them because if they are sucking air they will make the mixture weak and that will cause the engine to run badly.
To be honest if it is rocking about as much as you say then I would suggest it is only running on three cylinders. If you are happy with the sparkplugs and HT leads then it has to be a fuel problem, the injector with the broken plastic part? are you sure its operating correctly?
