Don't know myself. That is what I want to know also. Where is the AC relay switch for a 03' 350Z? Or how to get AC Compressor to start with low freon?

Circuit System Description
When the A/C switch is pressed, the HVAC control module sends a serial data message to the ECM. This input will request the engine control module (ECM) to ground the A/C compressor clutch relay control circuit, which will switch the A/C CMPRSR CLUTCH relay on. With the relay contacts closed, battery voltage is supplied to the A/C compressor clutch assembly.

My honda dealer says my evaporator is bad in my 1996 honda accord, how much will this cost me.

You were standing at a dealership, they told what is wrong, and they would not tell you how much they would charge to fix? Find another Honda dealership and ask them.

You know what is wrong, call some repair shops which have heating and air conditioning service in their ads, look in the phone book yellow pages, and they will tell you how much to fix.

When i turn on my air conditioner in my 1999 durango it blows out hot air. can i put in antifreeze myself or do i need to take to the dealership?

Antifreeze is only for the radiator, does not affect the air conditioner, make sure you have the setting on cold, if it is still hot than take it to your local air conditioner re gas station, most auto electricians do it, dealerships usually send them out which you end up paying extra for!!! You just need a re gas in your air conditioner.

The heating and cooloing system is not working. There is no heat or air conditioning coming through the vents.

  1. Check the air conditioner fuse and replace as necessary.
  2. Air conditioner system discharged. Have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by an MVAC certified technician, utilizing approved recovery/recycling equipment. Repair as necessary.
  3. Air conditioner low pressure switch defective. Replace switch.
  4. Air conditioner fan resistor pack defective. Replace resistor pack.
  5. Loose connection, broken wiring or defective air conditioner relay in air conditioning electrical circuit. Repair wiring or replace relay as necessary.

How to troubleshoot the electrical air conditioning system 2000 GMC Yukon Denali. I put in new resistor, relay and dealer blower motor and it still doesn't do anything. Air conditioning control switch...

The compressor on the air conditioner in my 2000 GMC Yukon XL went out last summer. Had it and the whole line replaced at a local air conditioning shop last fall. Used it little before cold weather. Warm weather this spring and no cold air. We could hear the compressor trying to kick in. The shop told us that the control console was bad and had to be replaced. They told us the part was on back order and did not know if they would be abel to get one any time soon. We took the Yukon into the local GM dealership. They told us that the high side fitting was bad and that the freon was very low and that they would have to deal with that first to check the system. Called back to the air conditioning shop and they said they had a console come in and they would put it in and check the high side fitting. I now have cold air and questions. Bought Yukon in 2005 used, had always had problem of not switching to cold air once the heater has been used. We were told changing the console should fix that. It has not changed. I feel like the console angle was a scam, that the system was just low on freon. Each shop was blaming the other for trying to scam me. And what can fix the heat to cold issue? If anyone has answers I would sure appreciate the knowledge.

A/c light blinks

The only problem with your air conditioning light blinking in the 4runner is a bad relay. Toyota has updated the relay to part #90987-02028. Call your local Toyota dealership for this relay. You can buy it at the parts counter. It is about $65. It takes 1 minute to replace. This is the first thing you should do to troubleshoot the AC blinking light. I had the exact same problem with my 2003 4runner and this relay resolved my issue. This same procedure is for the Camry and other Toyota models with the same blinking AC light, but the relay part number might differ.

1996 Audi A4 Air Conditioning Causes Fuse/FuseBox To Melt

facia one fuse 25
facia two relay 16
facia three fuse 5, relay 2, relay 3

all three of the above panels are located on the drivers side (which in the diagram i have is righthand drive).

Those are pretty much all the fuses and relays that control your a/c. the clicking noise you hear is probably one of the three relays i've listed. now i don't know alot about audi's except i'll never own one. but i have a lot of information if you have other questions.

that flickering you noticed could be one of the relays failing or you have a short somewhere in the wiring.

anything else you need feel free to ask

Robert

Please take a moment to rate this solution .. thanks

Incidentally the only reason that i can think of that those parts would melt is that the current is high on those wires. are there any recalls that you are aware of ?

Check the fuses under the hood for corroision. They should be locarted on the right hand side looking under the hood. I have a 2000 beetle that I was having problems with. technicans check everything and said all was o.k.. I found a fuse that was burnt up and cover with corroison. I cleaned the terminals replaced the fuse and have had no more problems.
