6 CD cartridge will not eject

If you are getting power to the unit and you hear it clicking and making a sound when you hit the eject button, the this means that a CD is jammed in the track and while it was changing it got stuck and now causes you to see an ERROR message.
What you do is while hitting the eject button, wiggle the CD MAGAZINE up and down and side ways. This will cause the CD to fall into place and your magazine will pop out.

CD's will not EJECT. 2004 Isuzu Rodeo makes the CLICKING sound when you hold the button, but the cd is stuck. CD player does recognize that there is a cd in the player just will not eject.

Had the same problem. Remove face plate by unscrewing a screw found when you remove the ashtray. Faceplate should pop off and then take out 4 screws holding in player. After removing the player I shook it around a little, plugged it back in and it worked (after purchasing another, luckily I could return the new one!) Give it a try before replacing.

My single CD player in my 2002 Highlander will not eject, giving Error 3. Any tips for dislodging the CD?

In most cases you will find a very small hole in the front of your cd player. Use a pin or small enough nail and insert it straight into the hole and your cd should eject.

Cd is stuck in the cd player. I made the mistake of pushing it in too early. Now it won't eject. I unhooked the battery in hopes of re-booting the computer & now it doesn't even respond to the "eject"...

Pushing the C.D. into it should'nt really matter sounds like your C.D, may have been warped or cracked either way you will have to remove the player and get the old C.D. out.The player will need to be opened I don't recommend you try this yourself.

ERROR 03 WHEN PUSH CD BUTTON

Two solution proposed on other forums:
1. Hold 'eject' button for 10 seconds. The system should eject the cd.
2. Slide a credit card back and forth on the cd opening. Push eject, the cd should be ejected.
Hope it works.

Cd not ajection

Welcome to the world of gm delco radios. I am a used car dealer in Canada and I deal mostly in trucks and suv's. Honestly I'd say 75% of the radios in Gm's don't work properly, the loading mechanism gets jammed when you try to eject and "check CD" appears. Unfortunately it's not the CD, and to save yourself any further heartbreak, rip the player out and get yourself a good quality Kenwood or the likes.

CD stuck in Car CD player

I just fixed this in my x-terra. I had to buy a new stereo because the rubber roller that grabs the cd was worn or something. I even took the whole thing apart and cleaned everything. This was the only fix.

6 disk CD changer is broken!

Hello, I just removed the 6-disc player from my 2001 Trooper. To remove it: 1) Remove the two screws above the radio area in the black faceplate 2) Remove the one screw located between the ash tray and the lighter. 3) Remove the four screws (two on each side) from the front center console cover and pull it back (you will need to shift into 2 or L) 4) Pop the black face plate off (there are some metal brackets holding it on that need some light force to pull out. Nothing should break) 5) There are two screws for the CD player and two screws for the radio. Unscrewing them will allow you to pull out the radio and disconnect the smaller CD wiring harness, then you can pull out the CD player.
When I unscrewed the CD player unit, I found that there are six plastic halos that hold each disc and move them up and down as selected. These had broken in some places and the discs had dropped to the bottom and stacked, so nothing could move...hence the clicking sound. Because there was a severe jam, nothing else could be loaded either...hence the error message. I'm attempting to superglue the pieces back together to see if I can reset it. Otherwise, I'd recommend you replace the unit (most likely what I'll do).
Hope this helps!
