Could be a number of reasins why the engine is overheating, your best bet is to go to a auto parts store and buy a book on your car, it will have lots of information on what to look for and how to repair it.

You popped something when car overheated. Sure it is not water(coolant) that is leaking? If so check your water hoses and connectors.

What might the issue be with my 2002 dodge caravan overheating?

Hi, No you did not break anything. It just happened by coinsident.
You need to replace the thermostat and put new fluid in. Not just water. If it happens again do a radiator flush and check if fan is working properly. Good luck.

I was driving the car i parked and went inside of the daycare when i come out all the coolant was on the ground and running out what could have been the problem

You may have a hose that went bad or the car overheated, you will need to fill the radiator and see if you locate any leaks, look around the radiator and the hoses, this may just be a bad hose, but if it overheated then the coolant would of overflowed from the coolant resivoir, so if you see that the coolant came out the res then it may have overheated, but if its from another location then you will need to fill and look around for a leak, you may have to start the car and let it run a while to build up a little pressure if nothing runs out by just fill it, good day, let me know if you need more help, good day.

Stopleak can work. But if the mechanic that installed the parts were to use a Radiator pressure tester, he would easily find the leak and fix it correctly. If this leaks after he worked on it, he still has work to finish.

the leak is your obvious problem, if there is no coolant the the engine will over heat.
engine coolant's main job is to cool your engine.
these models have problem with the heater pipe leaking. you must get it from the dealer.
follow the upper hose way the radiator and you will find the thermostat housing

My 97 Riviera is Overheating

Head gasket is gone...don't forget to have the head checked for cracks and warpage before putting it back on. Check it over for leaks to see if anything else needs repair before driving it again.

The anti-freeze/coolant seems to just disapear.

first check the exhaust... if it is white you have a blown head gasket.... next issue may be a stuck thermostat next place to look is the water pump, there is a "weep" hole on the casting, if that is leaking you will need to replace the water pump

My '97 Tahoe overheated and now it won't start

Probably just low on coolant causing air pockets. Start it up with the radiator cap of and add coolant, then check to see if the water pump, intake gaskets, or coolant bypass connector on passenger front corner of the intake manifold is leaking.
