I have a 1994 Buick LeSabre Limited with a blower motor that will not run. When I hook the motor up directly to the battery it works, and when I put a voltmeter on the plug that goes into the blower motor...

The blower motor fuse,or relay is not working, check these, and the blower motor switch. The relay is activated by connecting ground to the relay.Best bet,is the blown fuse.

It is normal for the fan to run a couple of minutes after the engine stops running. If it still runs it could be a bad thermostatic switch.
