Tps

I just worked on one but it was a 4.7 i believe or the smaller V8 and it was on the top of the motor by the firewall. only four bolts hold it on but you have to take the mass air flow box both boxes off then the gas cable both cables off unbolt it then put the other one on.

2000 Dodge Durango 5.2L V8 starts but won't run

By run - do you mean it dies when you put it in gear? Or that it just bogs down when you attempt to accelerate or drive away?
..
A plugged Catalytic converter will cause this. So will a Bad MAP or MAS (Mas Air ) sensor. So will a bad TPS (Throttle Position) sensor.

Dodge durango p0123

A P0123 code means that the computer has detected that the TPS (throttle position sensor) is reporting too high a voltage.

A code P0123 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • TPS not mounted securely
  • TPS circuit short to ground or another wire
  • Faulty TPS
  • Damaged computer
If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

How do I replace the throttle pedal position on 2001 Durango

TPS is located on the side of the thottle body, and is secured by three torx screws.
Removing the air hat on top allows better access.

AZ has the part for ~$40 or so. TPS 333 if I recall correctly.
