89 Jeep Running Lights keep blowing fuse

I changed my oil filter the other day and took it to a self wash car wash and sprayed my undercarriage with engine degreaser. Since then whenever I turn on my running lights at night, I keep blowing the fuse. I have replaced bulbs and removed the dash to look for any shorts. Is there something I could have shorted while power washing my under carriage? Any suggestions on where to find a wiring diagram so I can trace the wires?

Oil on undercarriage but none on the ground

It may have been leaking around the oil filter. I would keep an eye on the oil level.

'99 Ford Crown Vic LX: #12 30A Maxi fuse blows seconds after starting or ignition turned on.

i had this problem with my 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo with the brake lights it kept popping fuses right after the ignition was turned on try putting a higher amp fuse in place of the old one that keeps blowing then check for shorts to the starter and check grounds and wires and also the transmission issue check the fluid and then if the fluid is fine change the transmission filter the filter may have not gotten replaced when the transmission was rebuilt and may be clogged or dirty

My jeep keeps on dieing when i put it in park or press on the brake. When I first start it I have to idle it and then it will hold for a while but once take off it dies. My windows also gave out. When I...

you have more then one problem.
lights- check the door switch on the door column near the hinge. you didn't say what year your jeep is so check the ligth switch is it set for the lights to come on and is the bulb you have electric at the fuse and at the bulb.

Now for the engine;
1. adjust the carb. and chock and linkage. - no carb; check fuel injectors.
2. have you replaced fuel filter, air filter, oil filter and changed the oil.
3. replace spark plugs and look a old ones; are they clean or oily / wet, brown, black.
4. check plug wires.

2002 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado

Check out all info on There should be a detailed list if you wanna go by the book. If youre wanting to keep it simple just do the major items

Replace trans fluid and filter
Have gear oil checked in rear-end and transfer case
oil change (preferred synthetic and performance filter)
air filter (high performace)
spark plugs and wires
have ball joints and u-joints checked and entire undercarriage greased
change all o2 sensors (helps with mpg)

That should be penty good enough for another 20k miles before major check up. Stephen

Damage undercarriage-cannot access the oil filter for changing

If the part is bolted, you should be able to unbolt it if you have access to all the bolts , if not, you can rent or buy a come-along and bend the sheet metal back far enough to gain access to the oil filter. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you either way!
