As with most vehicles, the bolts holding the seats in place are located under the car. Locate the mounting bolts under the chassis (it may be neccessary to use penetrating oil about 30 minutes prior to attempting to remove these bolts - WD-40 works well).

I guess I should have read what you actually wrote...Rear seats are held in at two points. First, place your hands at the base of the seat about two inches off the mounting spot on the floor. Press down and toward the trunk at the same time to release the locking bar under the seat. Once you have released the seat from the locking bar, it should be easily removed. Replace the seat by reversing the removal directions.

My 1996 chevy corsica has a wiper switch that is either slow or really fast would a switch from another 96 corsica that has the delay work with my 96 corsica? I found one at junkyard, dont want to get...

You will not be successful replacing just the switch. Cars with delay wipers utilize different wiper motors, and wiring harness's than cars without.

I need to remove the rear seat of a 96 Lincoln Continental

Push the lower seat cushion toward the rear of the car and lift, there's 2 hooks approx. 12" or so either side of the center of the seat.
The seat back is held in with 2 bolt located on the lower outside corners.

You'll have to unbolt the seatbelts from the floor to completely remove the seat back.

Well, probably there are 2 reasons for that:

1. The fuse is too small

2. You got short in the wiring harness
