Not sure from that description but i would check for a broken belt on the tire. If not check tir rod.

Sounds like you hit a decent bump and something in your suspension or tires is tweaked. Get your tires balanced and front end aligned and then road test.

Ignition wont turn steering wheel locked

If the steering wheel was in a hard turn when the ignition was turned off and the key was pulled, maybe it's just in a bind. Put the key in the ignition and pull the steering wheel hard to the left, then to the right while trying to turn the ignition.

Vibration coming from front axle when coming to a stop it gets worse, brakes are good , maybe cv joint?

if you feel the pulsation in brake pedal when stopping. its a warped brake rotor thats causing it. for bad cv joint symtoms--- Unusual noises when making turns. As you are driving on the road and you make a turn at the corner, if you start hearing unusual sounds coming from under the car then this is one of the symptoms of a bad CV joint. These noises will sound like something is clicking beneath the car every time you turn the steering wheel. Evidence of a damaged boot. Steering wheel feels heavier. The steering wheel will start to feel tighter and heavier and you can hardly make simple turns to the left or right. In severe cases you might even feel heavy vibrations like you are driving down a rocky road.

The steering wheel and ignition on my 2009cobalt are jammed key wont turn or unlock steering how do i fix this?

Your steering wheel needs to be pulled hard either right or left to turn the key. Tug the steering wheel in one direction hard over and see if key will turn. If not try the other way.

Cannot get key to turn in jeep. Have already driven it numerous times today, suddenly can't move steering wheel or gear shift and key will not turn. Help!

Try turning the steering wheel (hard) right and left while turning the key. Steering lock , and ignition lock work in conjunction with each other.

Power steering quit. suddenly

ok real common. get your vin and call your local gm dealer. there is a recall on these and express vans, under hard load, the input shaft to the pump shears internally. to check, dont disasemble anything, put a pry bar behind pump pulley, pry lighty it will slide in and out, all the way if you keep pulling. i hope your covered for a free one its an old recall. good luck!

Steering shimmy when brakes applied

It sounds like either warped rotors or grease/oil on the pads. Jack up the front and pull the wheels off. Turn the rotors by hand to see if the rotors turn freely, then drag, then turn freely. If there is no grease or oil on the rotor surfaces, you need to either turn or replace the rotors. The job is a royal pain in the ****, so you may want to take it to a reputable shop.
