Where is the 1996 Mitsubishi Mirage cam shaft positioning sensor and the H2O sensor location

Cam Shaft Sensor would be located on the top, front (radiator side of the engine housing). It will have a single lead wire hooked to it. If you have the part, it would be easier to confirm it's identity. Typically there is one 10 mm (about 1/2") bolt with a flat metal part which holds it in place. Use flashlight (even in the daytime, and you may have to peel some things back to get a good look to find this puppy.
Water sensor, should be near the thermostat housing on the block side of the engine, again a single wire leading to it.
Best regards

Do you have to take the distributer off to change the cam shaft senser for a 1996 chevy s10 blazer? i cant seem to get it off pass the rotor

the distributor has to be removed. Mark where the rotor is pointing. the gear on the bottom will need to be removed (roll pin) , then you can remove the shaft. be sure you mark the cam gear to put it back the same way.

Where is the cam shaft sensor in a 1996 jetta?

1996 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L SFI 4cyl
The Camshaft Position Sensor is located under hood, center, upper engine area, driver side of engine block, mounted in distributor.

This sensor performs the same function as a crankshaft position sensor; providing a signal to the ECM regarding the position of the crankshaft.

Although the camshaft position sensor is an essential input for the ECM to determine ignition timing, information on testing the sensor is located in of this guide (autozone.com / free register).

Hope help you; remember rated this help. Good luck.
