My info shows you have to tee into supply line to check fuel pressure. The database gave part numbers for the fittings, I don't know if you want those numbers.
In the past, I have made my own fittings for this procedure on different vehicles. If you try that, I accept no liability.

Dodge intrepid new solinoid still won't shift the gear to next.

I believe these models have a transmission temperature sensor. If the transmission gets to hot it puts the car into limp mode until it cools down. A faulty sensor may be your problem. Also you may consider installing a transmission fluid cooler. Most cars have the transmission lines routed through the radiator to cool the fluid but radiators get hot. You want to keep the fluid as cool as possible. Ask your local parts supplier about a transmission cooler. There like 30 bucks but can save you a rebuild later :)

Leaking trans fluid off the radiator

its the transmission cooler it has two lines that connect to it, it cools down your transmission fluid so your transmission runs cooler and lasts alot longer

Trans, cooler ? Does the Dodge 2002 Intrepid have a transmission cooler, in front of or near the radiator, if so can fluid leaks occur after replacing the main radiator on the car. Have one that has leaked...

Hi:
You are correct. Almost all automatic cars have a transmission cooler connected to the radiator with 2 hoses, near the bottom. If the hoses are leaking or not installed correctly, all of the fluid from your transmission will get pumped out on the ground, and you won't be able to move the car. Inspect the two hoses and hopefully you will find your problem.

I have a 1994 Dodge intrepid I recently

Check your paper work for the warranty that came with the rebuild job they did.If it is still under their warranty then I would have them fix their screw up.Normally a shop will warranty their work for 1 year and 12k miles. The external cooler is usually for vehicles that do a lot of towing.Yes your vehicle cools the transmission thru the radiator tank.there is a cooler built into it.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have leaking transmission cooler lines on my 2004 Dodge Intrepid SXT. Where can I purchase the lines at without paying a fortune? Are they difficult to replace? I have tools, ramps, jack stands, etc.

Hi,
Since I was able to buy a brake line section for an '81 jeep CJ from Autozone, I would imagine they could get your lines for your tranny. That's where I'd go before to a dealer or specialty shop.
Hope this helps... Good luck!
