Question about Lincoln Town Car
Try to scan the lightning control module from faults memored using a diagnostic scantool connected to the data link connector of the car. Try to erase all errors from lightning control module memory, in order to reset the lightning control module. The last component out of order is the lightning control module.

You will have to take out the door ajar switch. It is located in the door. This works your interior lights and door ajar switch which is in the door and is hitched to the door latch. Spray the door latch with WD-40 and open and close the door a few times, and then spray again. If this does not work then you will need to replace the driver's door module and/or the light control module.
