How do i replace the rear ABS speed sensors on 2006 town and country touring, 3.8L?

I belive theres two ,one on each wheel in the rear, you unplug connector, then remove the bolt holding sensor to backing plate and then remove, two wheel drive vans you need too replace the wheel bearing asm,heres two pictures too show you and then you see which type you have,one is the sensor the wire type the other is the bearing asm, hope this helps,who do i replace the rear ABS speed sensor on 2006 - 6608e12.jpga7cca55.jpg

My abs light is on checked sensor all are fine


You spun the wheels with a Meter or Oscilloscope
on the Wheel Speed Sensors,that's why their fine?

The ABS light is on my 2006 Chrsyler Pacifica Touring


Each wheel has a sensor. Theres more to it than the sensors. have the repair shop check it over for you and recommend repairs.

I got the ABS Light on my 2005 Chrysler Town and


Stop at a Tuffy or other shop and they can scan for codes to tell you which sensor may be faulty. Wheel sensors are easy to replace.

Torque for pyutting new rear brakes and rotors on a 2006 Town&Cou


Caliper mounting bracket bolts 125 ft, Caliper guide pins/bolts 26 ft, Brake hose to caliper 35 ft. Wheel lug nuts 100 ft. Wheel speed sensor 115in lbs*** This is for disc rear brakes Teves system. You do know that the rear disc is a Rotor/Drum. The parking brake shoes ride on the inside.

2006 Town & country makes clicking sound when breaking. Sounds as if coming from passenger side. Checked the front brakes & they're fine. They were repaced with new brakes & rotors 2500 miles...


As Chrysler says You may experience the following when the brake system go into Anti-lock.....The clicking of solenoid valves. When they changed the brakes did they damaged the ABS wheel speed sensor. It is mounted on the front axle on the back side of the brakes. Sensor & harness are one piece & must be replace toghter

06 T & C replaced left rear speed sensor and ABS module, scanner still shows left sensor at o mph all the time


you need to check for voltage to sensor from module or a broken wire,also with a multi meter check for resistance from sensor from turning wheel
