There is no drain plug or valve on most modern radiators. You have to remove the lower radiator hose in order to drain them.

I have a 1995 buick century. i want to flush radiator, but i couldn't located the draining valve. i need a help, if you can locate the draining valve for radiator.

Hi, if there is not a petcock or plug at the bottom of the radiator, you can just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Many cars do not have drain plugs. Please let me know if you have more questions and thanks for using FixYa.

Where is my radiator drain plug for 2002 buick century

Generally, when one wants to evacuate the system of the radiator fluid, one can remove the bottom hose in order to quickly drain the system, much faster and more minerals comeout that way than if you use the drain plug which is very small.

Im trying to change the antifreeze but cannot locate the cap on the bottom to drain

its a drain plug. You can just pull off the bottom radiator hose if you want this will drain the radiator pretty good as well. Let a garden hose run in the radiator to the water runs out bottom clear put hose back on and add the antifreeze top off with water. Bleed the system of air.
