Question about 2002 GMC Sierra
I have a 2002 sierra gmc 4 x 4, when I come to a rolling stop the break peddle gets hard and you hear the abs working but it not stop you feel the pulse without the break or abs light coming on. I can unhook the abs and my breaks work ok. I have changed the rear calibers and the front abs switches and don't know where to go from here.
Its a low speed abs activation the problem is in the front sensors they need to be cleaned or replaced they [or one] probably has some corrosion on the sensor --[the 99 chevy tahoes had a limited recall over this issue and the fix was to remove and clean the abs sensor or if to corroded replace ] this problem doesnt set off an abs code or trouble light also sometimes the abs will activate by itself at under 4 mph without even touching brake
