Question about 1989 Toyota Camry
Posted by Anonymous on
These engines have a self-diagnostic system built in. Find a manual on how to engage this self-diagnostic - you jump a couple of leads in a junction box and then count the number of times the check engine light blinks in succession. Refer to the Toyota manual for identifying what system is affected. Sounds like a critical component is out - fuel pump perhaps. Don't quess - use the diagnostic system.
