Question about 1999 Ford Windstar
2002 ford windstar only starts when sprayed with starting fluid already replaced fuel pump that worked for about a month fuses ok pump runs when key in on position

Try replacing the coolant tempreture sensor.it may always think its hot so it provides a lean start mix. its cheap and easy to change. just be very careful not to over torque. use a TORQUE WRENCH or you may crack the caseing. if you have obd2 software you can read the sensor to see if its working before replacing.
