Radio may need a radio code to re activate. if SAFE appears on the display then this is the problem.you would need to get a code from a VW dealer.

Push the "Scan" and "mode" buttons at the same time. Hold them. Eventually the radio will blink off of SAFE mode and will read: "0000" If you have the radio code, push the "1" button as many times as it takes to get to the number you need. (for example, push it six times for the first column to read "6", so then you get "6000") For the next number, go to the "2" button, repeat as before... etc, until you have your code in. If you do not have your radio code, then you will need to pay a few dollars to get your code from the VW dealer.

Replaced battery in 2008 Infiniti QX56, battery cables w mistaknly placed on wrong posts, lights came on starter wouldn't work radio wouldn't work & dash lights didn't work. Is this just a blown fuse

no ---fuses just pass power in any direction
You can check for a blown fuse as the reversed power supply may have shorted something out
it could be a fried ECM or a failed diode from the wrong power direction flow
lights will work with current flow in either direction
starter solenoids need a direction to move in on starting so it will not work with the wrong direction of power
radio could be blown internally

My battery was replaced, I HAVE THE RADIO CODE , BUT IT DOESN'T TURN ON THE RADIO, MY CLOCK STOPPED, MY CD PLAYER WON'T WORK...WHAT WENT WRONG?

You need to see the dealer for information on the radio code. Also sue O'Reilly auto for improper installation of the new battery.

The wrong code for the radio was entered in for my 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and the radio says OFF, how do I reset the radio to say CODE, so I can put in the correct code?

Not sure if this will work but if you have a battery replaced in your car you usually need to reprogram your radio code. try disconnecting your battery for a bit, connecting it & then see if it asked you for the code when you turn it on. Then put the right code in. I hope that works. it would be worth a try anyway. hope this helps and good luck.

Clock and radio will not work

Check your clock and radio fuses at the fusebox if it got busted. If the fuses are intact, then you need a replacement for these items. They are damage by the
reversed polarity that happened.

CD Player Quit Working

the only thing i can sagest is that you leave the battery disconnected over night this may reset the cd player and it may Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Recognise that it has cds in it
the only other thing i can think of is that when it says enter single disk only that you do so to a point don't let it go all the way in
this may make the cd player think there is a disk in there
hope this helps

Honda Civc 2004 radio code entered plays for 30 seconds and quits?

Not sure? If it is the wrong code it shouldn't work at all? Try leaving the radio on for an hour without doing anything and then re-enter the code. If that doesn't work, contact your nearest Honda dealer.
