Question about 2009 Hyundai Accent
In your owners manual there is a phone number to file a complaint to the corporation. Do that first of all. I owned a Hyundai that did very strange things although I had strange braking problems which was repaired at a shop of my preference and was reimbursed.
The problem with yours has to be an internal transmission problem. Nothing will be found unless the transmission is removed and completely torn apart for inspection. More than likely a brass bushing is egged out making the trans to act so eractic

Testimonial: "Thank you so much. I agree with you, and hope more people agree as well so I can have something to go on when they tell me they can't find the problem, and more disturbingly not to worry about damaging your brand new vehicle. :-) chris"
