Question about 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser
Not really iam sorry to say ,although i am at a bit of a loss as to what you refer to a fuel pump screw ?? their is a throttle idle screw and a max throttle screw which have a lead seal on them ,also another for the antistall ,(rotary injection pump) So any adjusting screw that actually goes into the pump would need a specialist repair shop to reset and the pump would need to be removed from the vehicle for this. But if it was just the idle or max throttle then this can be reset with no problem, but i would need more information to be able to advise .

Presuming it is swinging (starter turning engine) and the
glow plugs are working well and diesel is clean, the other alternatives are a
drop in fuel pressure through the injectors which is necessary to ignite the
diesel, or engine compression. If the compression is too low the diesel will
not ignite. Test the injectors and
compression across al cylinders. Being a turbo the compression si already lowered and the slightest drop will have an effect. Happy hunting.
