94 Toyota Camry-No Heat!

1994 Toyota Camry LE. The temperature dial will not go past the middle and therefore I have no heat. It's almost as if maybe something broke on the inside and is preventing the dial from turning?

Yes. it could be the switch, or it could be the blender door that is stuck.

What is the blender door and how do I get to it to fix it?

The blender door is the door inside the ducts of air that opens and closes the passage for the cold/hot air. It is most likely controlled by a cable, if the door is broken and can only move half way, the know will only be able to turn half way too. This door is located behind the dash close to the passenger feet. It this is the problem it is going to be a very hard fix, since you will need to remove the whole air box with the ducts, from the car. You should first remove the switch and take a look at it, since it is a lot easier that removing this air box behind the dash.

It is broke, time for new parts there.
get car serviced, if removing frail dash parts is iffy.
plastic, breaks easy.
but the FSM covers this is reading that is not hard.

the factory service manual as step by itty bitty step here, RTM.

A 94 toyota camry le 2 door v6 transmission drive gears not workin but park and reversole do

There are really only 2 possibilities which are within your reach

- low trans fluid level, check that with engine idling
- poorly adjusted shift linkage, see p69 here

If anything else has failed, like a shift solenoid, it's really a job for a specialist.

Driving 65 MPH and engine rpm goes to 7K. Not in O.D. light comes

sound to me like it maybe a faulty sensor in the transmission. take your car to someone with an ODB reader and see if a transmission fault is indicated. you may have to take your car to a transmission shop.

Hi,when you say rebuilt, are you speaking of the tranny. If so,then you should call the tranny repair shop to have it towed back at there expense. No doubt, you have a warranty on the repairs? As far as the "water sensor".The vehicle has an engine coolant temperature sensor but this should not give you your symptoms...Please rate this answer..Thank You and Good Luck!!!
