If you change the oil every 3,000 miles, you should never have a problem with the bottom of the engine. That engine could easily go 300,000 miles. But the rest of the components will not go that far. Heat is the big killer, all the plastic will deteriorate before then and problems will come up. City driving is not good, cheap gas is not good, regular maintenance is good. Hope this helps.

Acura 3.2TL: Brought my 2003 3.2 TL in for an oil change it wasworking fine prior now my TCS light and engine light is on

If it happened right after the oil change, I would take it back there first.
Even if they can't fix it, they need to know about it if you have it fixed somewhere else. They might be on the hook for the repairs.
They could have left something unplugged which would turn on the check engine light. The traction control is affected by the engine performance.

My 2003 c5 zo6 corvettes battery is to low to start the car after 1 week

You may want to check the built in trio-diode in your alternator. This lets current flow one way when it is ok. When defective, current will flow both ways & this will run your battery down.Take a fluke meter & see if there is excess voltage draining when car is turned off. You can replace the trio-diode or the complete alternator. GOOD LUCK, ROBERT OLIVER

2003 honda civic EX with automatic transmission will not move in any gear. It has 77k miles. The fluid is scorched (brownish in color) and smelled burned. What could be the best to worse repair needed.

complete transmission rebuild sounds like the only way to go on this as the oil is burnt and smells bad.this indicates there has been a problem with the transmission for a while and you either noticed something and ignored it or figured it would go away on its own.

Well, I guess I would find a way to get the fuel delivery right at the point of use diverted into a jar, so I could inspect for water or silt.

Fuel delivery bad enough to make the engine run wrong ought to be visible as a lean burn telltale on the spark plug insulators.

I would have a shop check to see what the coil(s) is/are capable of delivering, and what the engine requires for spark voltage while running. If the two are very close, you can easily run out of necessary voltage to fire the plugs.

The intermittancy though does seem to argue for something else...

1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon. Engine dies at low idle.

I understand you have maintained it properly, But often people seem to forget things like the Fuel filter. Another cause is vacuum leaks. If the car has a miss you might try a can of Seafoam through the fuel system. Cleans the system very nicely and improves fuel mileage. Hope this helps to return the Subbie to its dependable abilities. Good luck.

2003 es 300 air condition problem any suggestions?

It's the relay in the front fuse box area of the engine compartment. Toyota has a replacement for it. The dealer will charge you $200 to fix. The rerlay can be found for much less than $70. You can pull the old one and replace it in about 45 seconds with a set of pliers
