It sounds like you might have a bad fuel pump check valve. You'll need to check the fuel pressure while the motor is running, and then turn off the motor and see if it holds pressure for a while. I would check the fuel filter also.

2005 Lincoln LS I drove it through a flooded street. It's was almost over the hood. I made it across the water it died and hasn't started since.

Most times it can be started with time and a little money. Remove the spark plugs, replace the plug wires/boots. Crank the engine over a lot to expel any water in the cylinders. Change the oil and filter. You need to check the transmission fluid also. If it is really high on the stick, Replace the fluid and filter. Put it back together. You may need starting fluid it get it started and may take several times to get fuel to the engine. If you get a lot of water out of the transmission, you may have to do this several times Watch for milky/pink fluid. Check several times before driving, transmissions absolutely do not like water or coolant. it is better to waste a hundred dollars on fluid and filters, than $3000 on a rebuilt transmission. If after this and it still won't start. Get a can or two of brake clean and start pulling plugs(not spark plugs) and clean them out. Blow it out with air or let them set for a few minutes to dry.

Mr Reyes, I personally believe that this is the sign of a timing tooth jumped and it is necessary to ask help from your local mechanic.

Car turns over i have spark i have fuel in the fuel rail sounds like it wants to start but also sounds like its out of time when cranking over.

Could be a timing chain problem or several other things.
On most models the factory timing gears were coated with plastic which can break off. Will it start if you use starting fluid in the intake ?

89 camaro rs 350. been sittin for 2 years. needs starter fluid to start most times. no muffler on it at all. will that cause it no to crank or to die while sittin at a red light?

most likely has nothing to do with no mufflers. u prob have bigger more obvious problems if u have to use starting fluid to start. how does the engine run while driving, and at idle after warm?

Car won't start sometimes just had the fuel injectors cleaned out

The most common cause of a not start like this is a failing fuel pump inside the fuel tank. Buy an can of spray starting fluid and the next time it doesn't start spray the fluid into the air intake of the engine and crank it over, if it starts and then stalls as the fluid is burned off then you found the problem, no fuel pressure. Also run a fault code test on the electronic engine control system, Autozone does this fro free.

My 93 pontiac bonneville will start sometimes and wont most of the time

Next time it does this have can of starting fluid handy, spray it into the air intake hose and see if it starts, if it does and dies out the fuel pump is defective.

Some times the car will start some times it wont

the most common cause of this is a failing electric fuel pump, to verify this is the problem buy a can of spray starting fluid at the parts store, when you have the no start symptom spray the starting fluid into the engine's air intake hose, if the engine starts and then dies you need to replace the fuel pump, the pump is located inside the fuel tank, the tank must be removed from the car to rep;ace the pump.
