The clicking is a turn signal type clicking. It starts as soon as you put the key in the ignition. The turn signal is not on: lights are not flashing. It just sounds like it. The noise s not coming from the brakes. It just happens to stop if your foot is on the brakes.

I installed a new radio and now my running lights stay on. Ther are also two extra wires from the old harnees that dont go on the new harness, could this be the reason and is it part of the anti theft system? where do they connect to?

The problem could be coming from the brake-pads or the caliper sliders. If the Stainless Steel shims are missing or worn-out then it can make a constant clicking sound that disappears when you applie the brakes. The same goes with if the Caliper Sliders are dry or loose.

Clicking sound like a turn signal constantly until brakes are applied, what would cause it? 1998 chevy blazer s10

The brake pads have a tab on them that can be bent to take up slack against the caliper. If they are not tight they can rattle back and forth making noise until the brakes are applied. Hope it helps.

It could be an exhaust leak. When the metal heats up it expands and closes off the leak. Have a mechanic go through your entire exhaust system and check for leaks.

Noise like turn signal is on

It could be your brake light switch may need adjustment or it's faulty. Try driving with your cruise control on and see if it dis engages or see if your brake lights fliker as your diving which is the harder of the two.
Good luck and hope this helps.

1998 Chevy Blazer making clicking noise in front

Check the ft diff actuater. Sounds like the ft diff isn't complelely disengaging when in 2 wheel drive. Also I'm not sure but I think that the fr driveshaft should not be turning when in 2 wd. If it is turning then you could have a problem with the transfercase.
