Where is the fuel pump located on my 2002 continental?

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You need to drain the fuel and pull the tank out from the car. Your fuel pump will look like this, the top is part of the fuel tank. mcneb_49.jpg

1998 Lincoln Continental fuel tank. The basket

Hello drahos376. My Name is Roger and I will help. If the component you are asking about was located inside of the fuel tank? The parts inside the tank such as the baffles and the cup the fuel strainer sit in are non replaceable. There would be no way to open the tank to install them. I would check with a salvage yard to find a replacement. A new tank from the dealer is very expensive to buy. Should you need further help lease just ask. Please rate the answer that you received as this way I know it helped. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
