My 1999 Chevy S10 4.3L won't start in the cold with a new battery and alternator. This only happens in 10 degrees F or below. What could be the issue?

can be several things. Like ice in a relay, oxidised contact, having a too high resistance in the cold. Low capacity of the battery. It is different for the battery, to deliver less then 1 amp for a radio, or 150 amps for the starter. Just pick up the multi meter and start checking voltages on different places in the start circuit.

My 1999 Chevy S10 4.3L won't start in the cold with a brand new battery and alternator. This only happens in 10 degrees(F) or below. What could be the issue?

I forgot this one: check the contacts of all power cables. Cab;es in the start circuit. Eventually, by hand. When you can wiggle them around there will be a too high resistance on that connection.

Chevy s10 2000 not charging battery just replace alternator

I would check the fuseable links and cables from the alternator and the starter. You should be getting 14volts from the back of the alternator to the starter - battery.
The battery light should be on too.

Where do the wires go on the alternator on a 1999 chevy s10.

There is one Battery terminal on the back of the unit, this should be insulated and have a nut on it. Usualy takes a 12mm wrench. There should be a Red wire with a similar size terminal, with a black boot, to cover the terminal. There should be a Black wire with a larger terminal on it, This wire should be bolted onto one of the rear mounting bolts. This terminal is considerably larger and the alternator mounting bolt should go through this terminal. The third wire is rather small and should have a quick connect terminal that should plug into a socket in the back of the unit. This followiing web site has pictures of the quick connect terminal, and alternator. If you click on one of the alternator, you can see the back of the alternator. The shiny terminal is the battery terminal. Do not over tighten this terminal as you can break this off. http://catalog.oehq.com/ShopByVehicle.epc?q=1999-CHEVROLET-Blazer--S10/t10-V6--262ci--4.3l--F/i--Vin--W-Electrical&yearid=1999%40%401999&makeid=16%40%40CHEVROLET%40%40B&modelid=11613%40%40BLAZER+S10%2FT10&engineid=22796%40%40V6%2D262ci+4%2E3L+F%2FI+Vin+W%40%4022796&catid=3%40%40Electrical&subcatid=48@@Alternator+%26+Voltage+Regulator&mode=PA&waitdisplay=True&rewrite=

Check for power on the small wire on the alternator plug. If it has power than you might of just got a bad alternator.
