It is supposed to reset automatically when driving after you pump the tires back up above the minimum threshold pressure. However this does not always work.
What you need to do now to reset it is to pump all the tires up around 6 - 8 lbs psi above where they are now when COLD (up to 40 lbs psi COLD on each tire is fine). Then drive around for a few miles and the warning light should reset. Then when the tires are cold drop the pressure to around 36 psi cold or a higher pressure setting if you prefer. If you don't have your own tire pressure gauge then go to an auto store and buy one as good gauges are not expensive.. (Just avoid the cheap plastic ones).
The TPMS sensors fitted to the wheels can be erratic and whilst they are supposed to trigger when a low pressure is reached, the minimum pressure can vary significantly for the same model sensors fitted to different cars of the same brand/model/year.
tire rest light? the tire pressure light may come on, but should go out when all tires have the correct pressure. the pressure listed on the drivers door, NOT the pressure on the tire.
The little horse shoe-looking looking thing is actually supposed to be a cross-section of a tire. That would be your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) trying to tell you to check the pressure in your tires because it has determined that one or more of them are low.
This is covered in the Owner's Manual.
If you don't have an Owner's Manual for your Hyundai, you can get one HERE
look on the driver side door where the latch is there should be a white tag there it will tell you a cold air tire pressure and a hot air tire pressure.
with P185/60R15's should be inflated to 32 psi front 35 psi rear,
except for 1999 models where it's 32 psi front and rear. But have a
look just inside your door frame or glove box for a placard with the
info on it
Typically the tire pressure all around is 32 pounds, but to be absolutely sure look at the air pressure information label attached to the drivers side door, visible when you open the door and look at the area where the latch is located.
the manufactor puts a sticker on the passengers side rear door with recommended tire pressure.if you want a smoother ride then decrease the rear tires by 2 lbs,so if the front is supposed to be 35 lbs,put 33 lbs in the rear.try to keep the 2 rear tires the same exact and the two front the same to keep the tires from wearing un-even..unless you have a air pressure monitor in the system that lets you know when your tires need air, this way feels better. The reason for the difference from front to back in pressure is because of the weight of the engine.
all cars come from the factory with a sticker on the drivers door frame that tells the recomended tire pressure for each car. on this car I belive the tire pressure to be either 30psi or 32psi.
