What might be causing the antifreeze to leak on my 92' towncar

What might be causing the antifreeze to leak on one certain area where the hose and a black sensor i'm assuming join, right outside the heater core? i've replaced the heater core and the hose clamps but it still leaks.

If the sensor that you are talking about is mounted in the water line then it could be the sensor leaking through it,pull the wire connection out and see if it has water in it

Car leaks antifreeze what size hoses do i get

How bad it is leaking? You certainly don't want to run a car with low transmission fluid as it will surely do internal damage. Most common leak areas are at the pan gasket or the transmission cooler lines that go to the radiator. Next most common areas are at the output shaft seals and around sensors or plugs on the transmission. If you replace any cooler lines with hose, make sure you use transmission hose. This will handle the pressure and the chemical resistance that other hoses will not stand up to. Also be sure to KNOW what transmission fluid is needed. One size does not fit all!

I am having a problem with antifreeze smell and leak. I can't see where the leak is coming from but I do see spots on the ground. It does not over heat but it does have a sent of pancake syrup once heated....

LEAK COULD BE COMING FROM RADIATOR.WHEN YOU FIRST START VECHICLE UP IN MORNING LET ENGINE IDLE TO GET UNTIL THERMOSTAT OPEN AND COOLANT PRESSURE BUILD UP. TURN ENGINE.OFF. RAISE HOOD YOU WILL SEE LEAK. THE COOLANT PRESSURE WILL PUSH OUT ANTIFREEZE.LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSE.LOOK ON SIDES RADIATOR AND LOOK BELOW RADIATOR AREA WHERE COOLANTS FANS LOCATED RADIATOR CORES WILL LEAK AND LOOK AROUND WATER PUMP + BYPASS HOSE + CHECK HEATER HOSES TO HEATER CORE THAT GOES THROUGH BACK LOWER FIRE WALL.

I have antifreeze in oil pan & cylinder in my 1989 Lincoln Towncar

Hi:
The most likely cause of this is a leaking head gasket or intake gasket. Depending on how much cash you want to put into this car, the best plan of repair is to replace both head gaskets, and when you do this, the intake gaskets get changed as well. You can have the heads cleaned and checked while they are off the car.

Antfreeze leak not allowing belt to get traction where might the antifreeze be coming from and how can fix it

check all the hoses. next, check the water pump, should be behind the fan. If the bearings have gone bad in the water pump, it can sometimes leak coolant everywhere.

I get a smell of antifreeze when I put the outside

Firsdt check the radiator cap thats it tight , then check for any anti freeze visible on the engine, then check under the car for any leaks. Is the smell of anti freeze inside the car ? , check the heater core you may have a leak there. the newer heater cores are aluminum and certain anti freezes, are extra acidic , which causes the anti freeze to eat at the heater core causing leaks, it maybe be a pin hole leak in the heater core ,causing the smell.

Leaks small amount of coolant, but I don't see

Check the engine oil, see if the level is going up and what the condition is. you can take the oil cap off and inspect under it. if there is a milky fluid then the antifreeze is leaking in to your engine crank case which is bad for the engine bearing. The other thing to also check is the transmission fluid. make sure that its till bright red and not over filled to make sure it's not leaking in to your transmission through the transmission cooler which is apart of the radiator too. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

Oil Leak

The oil leak at bottom of radiator could be oil cooler and/or supply hose. Try check closely for wettest area .
The other leak could be thermostat cover, it only uses a sealing ring and is prone to leaking after time.
