It will be hard to find as most instruction manuals are copyright protected,
it is pretty detailed,
would take me a while to walk someone through it but would be willing to help

Need to rest radio after battery failure

you will need the code to do that with full instructions. It can be found at a low service cost to you. It is far less expensive than going to a dealer to have it done. The service is found on the web everyday that gives full instructions and your code as well if you do not have it

Hi, i have a 67 VC Valiant slant six manual gearbox. Took it out to do the clutch plate, put it back in & now cannot get it into neutral, even moving the levers directly at the gearbox. I havent...

Did you replace the pilot bearing in the crankshaft as well. It sound like the input shaft of the gearbox is jamed. It could be in the pilot bearing or the new clutch plate it self. Not quite aligned correctly.
Have installed the tail shaft yet?
If not try turning the rear output shaft.
If stuck it is most likey the input shaft is jammed.
Sorry but this means removing the box again and checking the pilot bearing first (if using aftermarket you could have a bush instead of a bearing) Both work OK.
Then check aligment of clutch plate. You can use a alignment tool but then also get you head up there and have a look to see if it is in the centre. As a motor mechanic I usually use the tool first then check by sight. You would be suprised how many alignment tools don't correcty align the clutch plate correctly. It only has to be out a little and can cause all sorts of problems.
I hope this helps

Wnating to know how I can know or tell if im gonna need a entire clutch set or jus a part to my clutch for 1997 nissan pathfinder SE it was high reving by its self when i would be driving for past week or...

Start by having the clutch adjustment checked by a knowlegdable mechanic. If you need to replace the clutch, yes it all needs to be replaced, and the flywheel resurfaced.

Meanwhile, quit driving the unit as you are overheating the clutch and flywheel by slipping.

Changing clutch in 05 Scion xB

For $20 US you can access the Chilton service manual here:

I personally prefer hard-copy and have either Haynes or Chilton for each of our vehicles. One or the other (probably Chilton - Haynes doesn't yet list the Scion line) will be found in just about any auto parts store and cost between ~$17-$30 US. The two lines are owned both by Chilton and I wouldn't be without one or the other. They are both based on a complete rebuild and have info on anything you can do at home and more.
