Will a standerd lug wrench work to change tire on this car

Hi Dickens:
Most vehicles come with a wrench sized correctly for removing wheel nuts.
- "Lug nut" wrenches are available in various sizes.
You will need to try the wrench you have on the wheel nuts on your vehicle.
- Some of the wrenches have several different sizes, so when you find the one that fits snugly, you can mark it with a black felt or with paint so that you'll know which one to use in future.

What size are wheel lugs on 2014 seirra

2wd, or 4 wd?????
use a ruler. (caliper tool?)
one way to find out , no tools.?
is to try to buy lugs.
and it tells you.
autozoned shows 1/2 in. - 20 Thread 2wd.
still not metric, wow, amazing, we are.
or take off one lug nut
walk in to any hardware store and see if 1/2" x 20TP bolt screws in.
if not try all sizes in bin. ask clerk to help, its not hard to do.

if buying nuts, why not ask the sell this. they know.
no job stated. so speculate that.

Cannot get the rear flat tire off of 1995 chevy cavalier. Do I need a special tool for this?

You should only need a standard lug nut wrench to remove the wheel, unless you have a lock nut (usually one nut is different) and it requires a 'key' to remove that one nut-if they are all the same, however, you just need a lug wrench with the correct size to remove them.

What wrench is needed to remove the 2002 GTI lug nuts?

they are the locking wheel nuts(lugs)and you will need a key(not a hex allen key)to remove them.if you look close you will see that the sides are not equal.
I use a nut spilitter or an old socket hammered onto the nut to remove it,means replacements but next time you buy a car check to make sure you have the radio code and the wheel nut key.

Broke off lug nut while changing a rear tire

You will have to remove the brake drum or rotor if it has disc brakes and drive the broken lug out of the drum or rotor. Purchase a new lug from any auto parts store buying the exact same size and drive the new one in. Reinstall the tire/wheel and torque the lug nuts to 100 lb/ft with a torque wrench.

I have an x type jaguar 2004 and am having problems removing the lug nuts. There's a flimsy outside casing that fits the supplied wrench but when applying tension, comes away from additional lug nuts...

go to parts house and buy a 4 way lug wrench for import(mm) sizes. they are available. ask parts guy if he will let you see if it will fit your car before buying. He let you try if the car is there.
