On a dark rainy night, I drove thru deep puddle on road that normally has barracades if water is high. my 2013 altima had water rush in & up thru floorboards (only on driver side) where I was...

This should not be possible unless this car was in a bad accident & was not fixed properly. Are you the first owner? even if not a 2013 should still have factory warranty for a problem like this. A new car like this should be almost air tight. & having water getting in means something is very very wrong. Get advice from a dealer or a body shop.

2000 jagure gearbox coad came up and does not have any power

this is a easy one for me if you added any fluid via side fill bolt on the drivers side of the transmission , you add to much, if not most people will tell you it's your transmission..if you hear any noise coming from the front of your transmission were the transmission meets the engine.i will say it is your..... torque converter, not the transmission and do not let them tell you it is just to get more money out of you please, dealer keep telling me it was my transmission but it did not make since to me when my car was cold transmission worked fine till it got warm and a bad converter will take a few extra second longer to get in gear.... if drive does not work then you put it in 4th manually and the transmission drives good thru all gears ok then it is your torque converter. torque converter

I drove through deep water recently. the car did not stall nor did I experience any electronic issues since then. problem is that when i entered the water (couldn't judge the depth due to dark

So why tell us-- if you have no problems?

Why drive into any water over 3" deep?
Makes no sense to ruin a $30,000 vehicle

Once you drive thru deep water NO ONE
NO SHOP will touch it

They usually get scrapped

My engine is 5.7 hemi 2006 quad cab 1500 like I said it was running strong up until the ETC came on. I have had it 2 weeks and put a k&n cold air intake on it, changed the plugs, put duel exhaust on and...

Don,t tell the dealer anything. Don,t offer any extra info. Just walk in like you don't know squat. My truck has a engine problem. its under warranty. can you help me? Then be quiet and listen. The dealer has techs that can figure out the problem a lot quicker than you can. If they fix the etc and it still runs poorly they will keep looking for the problem and surely find it.

Went thru a flooded road about 8"deep stalled out

You filled the cylinders with water. You will need to remove all the spark plugs and crank the engine with them out, to push out the water. you will also want to replace the air filter as it is probably saturated with water.

No 1st gear

You should check oils for water in: engine, diffs, transfer case and transmission. To sure that oils are not cloudy in color due to water contamination. It would be a good idea to change these any way to eliminate any possible problems in the future. Four wheel drive vehicles are meant for roads and are not considered and amphibious vehicle, you have vent tubes in all of the above mentioned .
Hope this helps you!

I would pull the electrical connector off the side of the trans and blow it out with compressed air, the connectors are not water proof just water resistant

I have a 97 dodge intrepid and its overheating and smoking and makes a noise and then all antifreeze leaks out and i took the old thermostat out and put new one and it worked for a month and then...

Since the car ran well for a month after you put the new thermostat, I would say that you have a leak somewhere. Look under the car every time you park, and keep filling the coolant. It is possible that you have a more serious problem, but until you figure out what it is, this may keep you on the road. Check the fluid level every day. Tell us what happens. Also make sure your oil is not milky and there is no oil in the radiator - if this happens, you have serious problems.
