Where is the blower moter relay and resistor on a 99 ford expidition

I don't know the precise location on your model but apart from a few Ford commercial vehicles that have the resistor mounted on the front inner wing they are almost exclusively buried in the cool incoming air stream of the heater unit. The resistors get very hot...

I haven't yet met a heater blower that employs a relay and yet most are amazingly reliable. If the resistor has failed you would still typically have the maximum fan speed when the resistor is switched out of the circuit.

You should still check it through systematically but my instinct from what you have already said is to suspect there is a safety thermal fuse fitted next to the motor and that it is blown.

I should bite my tongue because I suspected that last time a Ford was brought to me with no blower and it turned out to be one of the motor brush springs that had failed. Ford couldn't or wouldn't supply a replacement and so I had to fabricate a replacement rather than pay a rip-off price for a new motor.

If the thermal fuse has blown it will be because the motor has been getting too hot so it would be a good idea to clean it and oil the felt oil reservoirs before you refit the motor.

Good luck!

resistor block is located near your evaporator. remove compartment box, you can see your evaporator. around your evaporator you can see few wires bundled towards evaporator. this is your resistor block

I NEED TO FIND WHERE THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR IS LOCATED, A DIAGRAM OR SOMETHING SO I CAN REPLACE IT

On the 98 Explorer the resistor is attached to the blower motor or the evaporator casing. In order to get to it remove the blower motor.Be very careful not to damage the blower wheel.Take the wire connector off ,then remove the 2 screws holding the resistor to the blower or evaporator casing to the right of the blower motor.

Heater moter or fan controls not working

After checking the fuses Check the voltage at the blower motor, if you have voltage at the blower motor, replace it, if not, check voltage at the resistor. If you have voltage at the resistor but not the motor replace the resistor. If you do NOT have voltage at the resistor check the switch itself and replace as neccesary. While checking the items make sure all connections are clean, and are corrosion free.

I have a 1998 ford f 150 and the blower motor only works on high

This problem is caused by a defective blower motor speed control resistor.

BLOWER MOTOR LOCATION
The blower motor resistor is located under the glove box. You can locate it by finding a 4 wire connector, directly below the glove box hinge (towards the front of the truck). There are 2 screws holding it in. A mirror is helpful in replacing this, but I managed to replace it without one. You will need a nut driver to remove the screws. My suggestion is to leave the wires connected to the resistor while removing the screws.

Ford fusion 2007, blown blower fuse, replaced fuse, works at highest speed only (highest of 4) the other three setings don't work.

hte blower resistor is shot, near the blower motor, have the blower motor checked my guess is that it requiring too much power to run, hence the blown fuse

Blower moter on heater not working

First thing to check is that the GROUND is GOOD if it is try JUMPING Direct 12 volts to the Positive terminal of the Blower, If the Blower Works the Problem is RELAY or Resistor If it Does NOT Work the BLOWER is BAD.
The Resistor is >>Under RH Side Of I/P On Evaporator Assembly

Cooling fans run continously, no a/c,

by the blower moter always being on i would think it would be the blower motor resistor, this controls fan speed and is located under the dash in the blower case easy to replace.
