LOOK ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST PIPE NEAR THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER.YOU NEED TO CRANK CAR UP FEW MINUTES TO HEAT UP EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO GET O2 SENSOR OUT WITH OUT DAMAGING ITS THREADS HOLES.BESURE SPRAY A LITTLE LIQUID WRENCH OR WD40 TO HELP TO REMOVE O2 SENSOR.YOU HAVE TO GO TO AUTO PARTS STORE AND BUY SPECIAL SOCKET TO REMOVE THE OXYGEN SENSOR.ALSO WEAR LONG SLEEVES COVERALL AND GLOVES TO KEEP FROM GETTING BURN ON EXHAUST SYSTEM.WHEN YOU CRANK CAR UP TO HEAT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD JUST DO IT FOR A MINUTE OR TWO NO LONGER.SO YOU WONT GET BURN WHILE REMOVING THE OXYGEN SENSOR.

Mitsubishi diamante 2003, changed two o2 sensors, still hesitates at start specially when warm

there should be 4 sensors in the system two are normal O2 sensors that are located after the cat converter and two are heated sensors HO2S sensors located before the cat converter. Use the special sensor removal/installer tool so that the wires are not damaged . If you only replace d 2 sensors then you may have missed the faulty unit. The check engine light will stay on until you reset it with a scanner

Locate o2 sensor

o2 sensors are at the rear of the cat converter-- HO2s sensors are at the front of the cat converter . Use the special tool to remove /replace them as if you don't then the wires will be damaged.

Windows and O2 Sensors

yes. you can do all this yourself. the windows are fairly self explanatory once you pull off the door panel. they are probably off track, or have a broken or loose actuator cable (the regulator shouldnt cause them to fall). the O2 sensors are also simple. they are located in the exhaust (v6 or v8 has two before the cat converter and one after 4cyl has one before and one after) a special tool is needed for O2 sensors but is is not expensive.

O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction. location and how to replace it

ones you have your trouble codes, that, will tell you exactly which one is it and youll need to replace the sensor. or maybe your wiring is broken, inspect all your wiring first, there is a special tool to remove the sensor, you need that socket and a ratchet, maybe an extension, and all the o2 sensors are located on the exhaust manifold , before and after the catalytic converter. But first you need to know which one is it, thats the most difficult part.

The check engine light was on, i diagnoise it and it brought out code p1135. What could be the problem and how can i solved it. Please reply urgently.

The problem is the O2 sensor Bank1 which is located in the rear exhaust manifold, they usually stop sending the right signal to the computer when they get old more that 70.000 or have been contaminated with coolant or oil.

How do you replace the O2 sensor ?

You need to find which is bad. It can be removed with a 22mm wrench or a special oxygen sensor tool. disconnect the battery, and the sensors will be located in the exhaust manifold and at the exhaust converter. You will unplug the O2 sensor and loosen with the tool, once it is loose, it's easier to finish removing by hand. Make sure the car is cool down. Before replacing it, make sure it has anti-seize grease applied to the threads of the new 02 sensor.

Need fil for error code P2626 Hyundai Elantra GLS

P2626 O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I'll sure this has to do with a faulty O2 sensor. This sensor is usually located around the header of your car, or down more on your exhaust.

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 mins, hook it back up, and start your car again. This will erase the error. See if it comes in again.

Hope this help (remember rated this post).
