Question about Hyundai Motor 1993 Sonata
1993 hyundia sonata 2.0 GL takes 20-30 seconds to start in the morning. Car will start right up after you get it started the first time. I replaced the fuel filter and it still does the same thing. I'm thinking it could be the fuel pressure regulator??? Hopefully it's not the fuel pump. Also, could the cold cranking amps(on the battery) effect the vehicles first start of the day and not the following starts? Any ideas?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

you should be able to get replacement parts at Napa or Oreillys they a fairly in expensive. but only if the are the drive in kind, meaning you need to take a hammer to knock them out of the rotor assembly then you just take a drift pin/punch and hammer them back in. hope this is helpful. please rate this solution. thanks

Thank you and all for your concern,PROBLEM SOLVED. I managed to obtain a motor manual (rocket scientist manual more like it).I am from the old school, at my age it looks like Ive got to go back to school again, not on your nelley, sledge hammer will do the trick. For those that love to tinker in the back yard on the old bangers, not any more, whack em on a computer and see where they BURP,then hand over your dolars, yep thems the brakes I made a dill of myself,am not a computer. So back to the motor manual THANKS AGAIN wal-e

good question but you will have to do some testing first,, get ahold of a fuel pressuer test gaudge and test the key on fuel pressure it should be around 55lbs but each car veries so make sure to check with a repair manual to see what the exanct psi should be. once you test that then lets go from there.. put more comments up once you find out a little more and we can trouble shoot it together
