Mcdevito75 here, Your local library will have a manual for your car, but the way you speak, sounds like you need the actuall shop manual for your Mitsubishi, and That shop manual is only available thru Mitsubishi dealership..

Hi. I have a 2001 hyundai elantra. Recently, only when I start up and take off, it skips when I accelerate. It has happened twice in a week (not consecutively) it stops after I drive for about 10 miles,...

Sorry to say that without actually looking/diagnosing your vehicle, there cannot be a DEFINITE answer. You mention 'back and forth to the mechanics'??.... Have you had work/repair service performed on the vehicle? If so, what, specifically, was done (parts replaced, diagnostic trouble codes, road/drive test results? Did the mechanics recommend anything? I need some maintenance/diagnostic history here before I can begin to provide any help/assistance.

The drivability issue you describe could be caused by 'MULTIPLE' conditions, and each one needs to be individually checked/inspected/examined in order to complete a proper & complete diagnosis...there may be more than one cause.

Throttle Position Sensor problem(s)
Injector problem(s)
Fuel Quality problem(s)
Ignition (wires, plugs, coils, electrical connectors/connections)
Clogged catalytic converter (restricted exhaust)
Vacuum leak(s) - (hoses, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, O2 sensor (s)
Electrical Issues (ECM/PCM, Grounds, Faulty Relay(s), wiring harnes(s) & connector connections (pins), etc.

Advice: Have the problem properly diagnosed by a qualified/certified technician. That way you'll find out precisely/exactly where the problem(s) is/are and what it will cost/take to FIX it.

How do i replace the cylinder head gasket

This is one of the biggest jobs you can do on a car. It takes a decent mechanic about 6 hours to do. The complete engine has to be stripped. If you dont know what your doing it can be very expensive to repair any damage you do if its nt done right. My advise would be to bring it to a mechanic, ask himw what parts he needs. (gasket kit, coolant pump, engine torque bolts etc.) you get the parts and ask for a "labour only" quote, that usually works out cheper. If you think you can do it yourself buy (or download) a service manual.

you can get help at a auto parts store, auto zone , advanced auto etc etc. they have a lot of free services. they also have do it yourself repair manuels , haynes ,chilton . if your going to keep the vehicle make the small invest ment . you can also check half priced book stores. yes i know this is not a direct answer to your question you need to know witch is the hi line and which is the low line. some times they have a cap over the conection that has h or l for example thats if some one didnt put the wrong cap on the wrong connection.

At how many miles should my timing belt be changed on my 2004 sequoia?

HI- Most manufacturers reccomend replacement at 90k, 180k, etc. Variables include other parts that may need replacing during these belt changes. Water pumps and timing belts should be purchased from the DEALERSHIP, regardless of who does work. This is proper, normal cost of maintaining your sequoia. Complete inspections and labor should be completed by mechanic familiar w/Toyota vehicles. Parts may run 150-250$. Labor depends on who ya know.- Hope this helps- Thanks- ED

Where can i download free online auto repair manuals? want to fix it my self.

I very doubt you going to get a complete download of repair manuel to repair your car due to copy right issue. certain repair work you can get, not a complete repair manuel. You will be doing lots of printing, lots of inks and papers. the best thing to do is go down to local auto parts store and get haynes for 20.00 buck or get it on ebay.

Plymouth sundance timing belt

I recommend that you go to your nearest auto parts store and get a Chilton's or Haynes repair Manuel for your specific vehicle. These manuals will walk you through step by step and show you how to replace these parts and most other parts.
