There is none. It is controlled by the ECM and only shuts off in a crash, when the key is off or the battery dies.

Is there a air bleeder valve for coolant system in a 2003 mits. gallant 2.4 eng.

No, if you have air in the coolant system, turn the heat or fully, fill the radiator, and run the engine till its warm. When the thermostat opens, the coolant level will go down. With the radiator cap on, squeeze the hoses to pump the coolant, and top up as needed. If you still have air (or worse, bubbling coolant) you problem is a blown head gasket.

Location of a sensor

Replacing a CPS can be easy or hard. On the 2002 Gallant 2.4, it is located behind the timing belts. Removal of the main pulley, the covers and the belts is required. This isn't as hard as it sounds and is essentially the same as changing the timing belts.

Belts replacement for Mitsubishi gallant (1997)

Is your engine a 4 or 6 cylinder? Air conditioning or no? Either way, a power steering belt at Auto Zone will run you from $7.99 to $12.99. If replacing that does not help, it may be your pump.
HOWEVER, before anything else, PLEASE CHECK THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR. It may be low. If so, just add fluid to the correct level.:)
