Hi! H4? are you referring to the headlamp bulb? Is this the one blinking? I need some clarification. Thanks!

Hi! thanks for the clarification. Please try this, as a first course of action check the transmission fluid level and add up if lacking fluid. Check the automatic transmission fluid if its burnt, it most likely gives shifting failures if burnt and you will need a fluid change. The last thing I suspect is the torque converter, it has big contribution on the transmission specially on the shifting. Hope this helps and hope to hear from you. Have a good one!

This could be a headlight issue that you need to unplug. The h4 is a type of light. But honda also has h4 tranny's.

Try this first.

This problem can be solved by replacing an AT Control Unit, which is
located underneath the passenger side floorboard. There are two
computers underneath the floorboard. It is the one on the right, the
smaller unit. The numbers must match exactly. The numbers vary according
to whether the car is an LX, DX or EX. Simply disconnect the battery,
take out the two plugs that plug into the bottom of the computer and replace the
unit. The problem should be solved.

2008 Toyota 4Runner maintenance light is on eventhough I did changed the oil. How do I reset it?? I tried one of the suggestions which included turning the key to on and resetting the trip miles but...

You were close with re-setting the trip miles. Here are the steps:

(1) Turn key on, but do not start car. Keep pushing the trip miles button until you get to the odometer miles (the total mileage of the car), not the trip miles.

(2) Trun key off.

(3) Push and HOLD the reset button with one hand, then turn the key on (do not start the car) with the other.

(4) While you continue to HOLD in the reset button, you will notice the various warning lights blink and turn off. After about 10 seconds, release the reset button.

(5) Turn key off, then turn key back on and start car. The maintenance light will be off.

Brake light comes on auto each time you start the car (saftey check) and will go off when you press brake pedal.

Blinking arrow will stop when you click seat belt together (driver)

turn ign off press key in towards drive stem and turn anti clock (5degs)and pull out

Put in key hold in mileage reset button and turn key to on (dont start the car )the last click before starting (and keep finger on miles reset button till flashing stops
then turn off ,this resets all service lights,

When I turn on my car the maintenance required light on my 2000 Honday Odyssey stays blinking for another 5 seconds once the car is on. Is there a problem

HI, that little pesky light comes on and blinks to remind you your due for service at 6000 miles to 7500 miles. It will stop blinking and stay on steady for ten seconds after 7500 miles. Your dealer or mechanic will resets the light when they do your services. You can find the procedure to reset it in your owners manual if you want to do it yourself. Happy motoring

Take the truck to a tire shop that carries a nitrogen machine ,and let all the air out of tires and get them to fill them with nitrogen. this should take care of that problem.
