Santro LE Zipplus 2002, self acceleration proble

Hi, I bought Hyundai Santro LE zipplus in oct 2002. Have done no alterations of any kind. I drive at least 1000 km every month in and around bangalore in all seasons. There is a peculiar problem with my car more frequent in hot weather conditions. The engine gets auto accelerated to its upper limits even when i release the accelerator, and it keeps in that high pitch when i hold down the cluth pedal. If i am still on the move controlling the speed with difficulty, it makes puffing zerks and comes to a total halt and accelerator pedal looses its purpose. I observe lot of heat accumulating under the bonnet. I stop the vehicle and resume journey after some 10 times. I have shown to many hyundai service centers, but they do hopeless investigation and make weird fixes like sensor lines, pedal related, wiring etc.... and bill me a ransom. The problem will reappear after I drive as usual on my normal work day in arid conditions. I am fed up with the level of expertise/interest shown by the service center. I have now decided to show it to a stree side mechanic. GOD BLESS ME and my SANTRO.

Check your battery cables, although new they may be loose or corroded. Sometimes from factory they're coated with grease that can form resistance.

I have a 2005 Hyundai sonata v6 bought used. mechanics cant figure it out and ive done all I can with no luck. car only goes 5-10 mph and wont go past 2k rpm

Is the accelerator blocked some kind of way? Maybe something is under the foot pedal. Also fuel flow like filter blockage or a bad pump.

High idle rpm + hyundai santro

run the fault codes before you waste any more money as there are several sensors that will cause high idle.

Hyundai santro LS zip drive engine temperature problem, radiator coolant problem, brake fluid decreasing excessively etc.

If u are losing brake fluid that means there IS A BRAKE FLUID LEAK. It is a sealed system not supposed to lose any fluid. The cooling system sounds like it may have a clog in it somewhere or is your anti freeze mixing into the oil? Head gasket.

Santro car is having rough noise from engine. done 78000 kms on

Hi. if your timeing belt has not been changed that would be the noise it will make. you should get done right away because if that belt breaks you motor will need a new top end. I hear them all the time when the belt is getting to go and the way you explained it. It sounds like you need one today. It will cost you about 500. hope i was a help to you and good luck. P.S. change that belt every 60,000 miles.
