Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
My truck sounds like it is going to when running in idle. and when put into gear, rpms drop and battery voltage goes down(brand new battery). it has died a couple of times but fires back up. what do you think?
Might have a dirty IAC sensor; see my tips and tricks for this...also check you air filter it may be clogged up or what it sounds like to me is.. you probably have a loose or cracked vacuum hose..its those little ones way in the back especially the one going to the map sensor that get hot and cracked so give them a look. also insure that your serpentine belt isnt loose or worn out, check alternator pulley also these would cause you to lose the charge on your battery when she dips to low on idle.
