How do I recharge my AC on my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Ok, WHERE is the low side connection in this vehicle? Is is near the passenger side firewall? It does look like the same port for the AC unit in my other car, but has a black cap that isn't labeled.

As long as it still works some what.. and hasnt degraded in a short time frame.. it may just need to be re-serviced...purchase a big can of r-134a perferably one with a guage on it so you can make sure that you don't over fill it. and finding the low side connector is easier today because there's only one place you can put it on to service it. just find it, and take off the cap, have windows down,a/c full blast, and proceed..you'll know that its starting to work when you hear the pump click really loud,,that means its sensed enough pressure in the system to start producing cold air. if this last for more than 7 days then you'll know that it doesnt have a leak and that it just needed reserivcing.

If any freon has to be added there is most likely a leak. Find and fix the leak first. That is the proper way to approach any refrigeration problem. I am a Mass. State lic. HVAC/R Tech. Do it right the first time and you will not have to do it again. If you permit air or moisture into the system it will eventually be a problem. Find a certified HVAC/R Tech you can trust and have them do it the right way if you do not know how.

It is for an oil change mainly and any other service your maintenance manual suggests at the mileage interval. It needs to be reset after each oil change to be accurate.

SOURCE: The LED light is out for the climate control on the AC.

i have seen this before and what i found to be the problem was the blower motor resistor block shorted out and kept the motor power up all the time. and would end up killing the battery. the resistor is located on the passenger side under the dash kinda behind the glove box

How can I put AC liquid in a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica I already bought a a couple in Auto Parts but it didn't fit I even buy an adapter but it didn't fit either how can I recharge the AC

Assuming you bought r134a, they will fit...if you connect to the correct port. There are two ports on the ac lines and they are two different sizes.

My AC and Heater blower isn't working in the front vents of my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica what is the problem

If the air blows out of all of your other vents then you have either had an actuator go bad which controls which ducts the air flows through, or the shaft that has the "flap" on it has popped loose and no longer moves which will only allow air to go to the vents that are not locked. The easiest way to find out would be to get under the dash and start at the fan and trace air flow til you find the problem.

I have a 2004 pacifica and my ac blows hot air unless its less than 67 degrees outside. Anything higher then it blows heat and just spurts of cold air.

You quite likely have a low state of charge in the AC system, have a shop hook up a set of AC system pressure gauges and verify that the system is low on charge.

Chrysler Pacifica 2004 - CD,AC, Clock stopped working. Any idea what can be wrong?

Under the hood just above the battery are the relays and fuses. There is an acc relay swap it out with a like one and see if that fixes it. Otherwise when I looked at the wiring there are 3 fuses a 30 and 2 25 amp fuses check them
