Question about 1999 Mazda 626
Car ran out of gas, I put gas. and the check engine light was on and car did not start. I took the negative cable of the battery and press the brake for about one minute. The car still did not start and the engine light was still on.
what else should i do next.
Sometimes when you run out of gas your fuel pump is dry ,you need to put lots of gas in then turn your key to the on position with out turning over the engine ,you should be able to hear your fuel pump cycle if it still wont start ,pump the accelerator pedal a couple of times then try and start it
